How to Use the AI Image Generator in UpHex

Want to create eye-catching images for your ads in minutes? The AI Image Generator inside Uppie AI makes it easy -- no design skills required.

Getting Started

  1. Go to your UpHex dashboard.

  2. Click on Uppie AI in the left-hand menu.

  3. At the top, you will see tabs including:

    • Image Generator -- creates AI images

    • Video Clip Generator -- creates short AI videos

For this guide, we will focus on the Image Generator.

Creating a New Image

  1. In the prompt bar, type a short description of what you want.

    • Example: "A smiling real estate agent in front of a new home."

  2. (Optional) Click the image upload icon to attach a reference image.

    • You can upload a photo of yourself or another image you want to edit or use as a reference.

Uploading and Editing Images

Here is where things get really powerful:

Edit an Existing Image

  • Upload an image from the UpHex Ad Library or your device.

  • Example: "Use the same image but remove the old price and add $499."

  • Select a model that supports editing (Nano Banana, Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 4, or Flux 2 Flex).

You Can Make AI Images of Yourself

  • Upload your own photo.

  • Choose an editing-capable model like Nano Banana 2.

  • Enter your prompt and the tool will create realistic AI versions of you.

Choosing Settings

You can adjust:

  • AI Model:

    • Nano Banana (1 credit) -- flexible generation and editing

    • Nano Banana 2 (2 credits, default) -- fast generation and editing

    • Nano Banana Pro (3 credits) -- enhanced quality generation and editing

    • Imagen 4 (1 credit) -- photorealistic images by Google

    • Seedream 4 (1 credit) -- high-quality images by ByteDance

    • Flux 2 Flex (1 credit) -- improved typography and adjustable steps

  • Image Size (varies by model):

    • Square (HD): 1024x1024, Square: 512x512

    • Portrait 4:3, Portrait 16:9

    • Landscape 4:3, Landscape 16:9

    • For Facebook ads, we recommend Square.

    • For Google ads, you need at least one landscape and one square.

Generating Your Image

When ready:

  1. Click Generate Image.

  2. Wait about a minute -- your image will appear shortly.

  3. Each image uses credits from your monthly allowance (amount depends on the model selected).

Managing Credits

  • You get a set number of AI credits each month (based on your UpHex plan).

  • You can see your used and remaining credits at the top of the Uppie AI page.

  • Need more? Click Purchase next to your credit counter to buy extra.

  • You can also configure Auto-Refill via the Settings button next to Purchase.

  • Credits renew at the beginning of each billing cycle.

After You Create an Image

Once your image is ready, click on it to see the following actions:

  • Turn Into Ad -- Describe your campaign and let AI create a full ad template using this image.

  • Generate Similar -- Create a new image with a similar style and subject.

  • Edit Image -- Use AI to make touch-ups or adjustments to the image.

  • Add to Template -- Include the image directly in one of your ad templates.

  • Add to Client -- Add the image to a specific client's image library.

  • Turn Into Video -- Convert the image into an AI-generated video clip.

BONUS: Generate Prompts from Ad Templates
