How to Pause (or Resume) a Campaign

You can pause any active campaign directly from your client's dashboard in UpHex.

Steps to Pause a Campaign

  1. Go to Dashboard and select the client whose campaign you want to pause.

  2. Find the campaign in the campaign list.

  3. Click the actions menu (three-dot or dropdown icon) on the right side of the campaign row.

  4. Select Pause Campaign.

  5. Confirm the action when prompted.

To Resume a Paused Campaign

Follow the same steps above. For a paused campaign, the option will show as Resume Campaign instead.

Note: Pausing a campaign stops it from running on Facebook or Google. You can resume it at any time. When pausing a client (changing their status), you also have the option to pause all of their campaigns at once.

Google campaigns: pause, don't remove

UpHex does not offer Delete Campaign on Google campaigns. That is expected.

Google does not want campaigns deleted. Pausing is the supported way to stop a Google campaign:

  • Spend stops right away

  • History and settings stay in the account

  • You can turn the campaign back on later if needed

Use the same actions menu and choose Pause Campaign.

Facebook campaigns

Facebook rows can still show Delete Campaign in the same actions menu (and Delete on the campaign page) when your account has the Delete Campaigns feature. Google and other non-Facebook rows will not.
